Interior Designer Sue Paterson
Hello! I’m Sue Paterson interior designer & artist based in Maleny, in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
I’m passionate about designing and creating beautiful interior spaces for my clients that are filled with unique homewares and colours that make them feel happy and together offer a sanctuary from the outside world.
I believe everyone needs a special place to simply be. I grew up surrounded by beautiful things. My mother owned a popular decor and gift store and was a collector of fine antique treasures. My grandmother was very clever and made many things that were sold in that beautiful store, so it was difficult for me not to have been influenced by this creative pair. I’ve been drawing, painting and creating for as long as I can remember and I get completely lost in the creative process.
So while I’m busy helping clients design the home of their dreams, this digital home of mine is designed to bring all of my creative endeavours and things that I love under the one roof.
Suepaterson.com is about showcasing my creative life through my art, my interior design and Sue Paterson Collections – an evolving treasure trove of uniquely designed furniture, home furnishings, antiques and artisan wares sourced from around the globe. Some will even feature my painted designs converted into bold and memorable fabric prints.
